Southern New Hampshire Doll Show and Sale Sept 13, 2009

The Southern New Hampshire Doll Show and Sale took place September 13, 2009 at the Holiday Inn, Nashua, N.H. presented by the UFDC Nellie Perkins Doll and Miniature Society.
WOW! What a large doll-loving buying public turned out for this show. It was busy all day long with an enthusiastic and excited group of doll collectors and club members. Most stayed all day and spent time going through all the dealer exhibits some of which are pictured here.
About 40 doll dealers packed into the show room and were set up with quite a mixture of dolls from early bisque and china heads to new bears and reborn dolls. And of course Barbie. I sold a very nice blond Color Magic.
The doll club did an exquisite amount of work to produce the show and all the effort from the club members paid off. The show was a winner.
People came to buy for their collections, to dress dolls, find a treasure and gain another doll for the ever present growing collection. One buyer told me that he has 3500 Barbie dolls in his collection which begun when he was a teenager.
You can never have enough dolls would seem the under lying theme of the day. The above picture displays two of my vinyl Betsy Mccall dolls I had for sale. Many new purchases found their way into collections at this show.
